Nước bị nhiễm muối canxi, nhiễm phèn. Ngoài ra còn các tạp chất, vi sinh vật có hại khác.
Với những thành phần nguy hại như vậy trong nước chẳng hạn như những chất có độc tính cao như Asen, chì, thủy ngân,.. Nếu tiếp xúc trong thời gian dài sẽ gây nên nhiều bệnh nguy hiểm như suy gan, tiểu đường, ung thư, ảnh hưởng đến hệ thống thần kinh trung ương, nguy cơ sinh non đối với phụ nữ mang thai,… Nếu như không xử lý kịp thời mà vẫn tiếp tục sử dụng thì sẽ trở thành nỗi lo sợ đối với sức khỏe người sử dụng nước.

Xây bể lọc thô
Đây là phương pháp truyền thống trong việc lọc, xử lý nước giếng khoan. Bể lọc sau khi được xây sẽ được đổ cát vào, than hoạt tính, sỏi sau đó dẫn nước vào lọc. Qua bể lọc này, nước sẽ được lọc ra và được chứa ở bồn riêng, phục vụ cho việc sinh hoạt của gia đình. Tuy nhiên, bể lọc này chỉ loại bỏ được các cặn, rong rêu còn các chất độc bị hòa tan trong nước thì không thể loại bỏ được.
Sử dụng hệ thoáng – lắng – lọc
Hệ xử lý nước này sẽ giúp xử lý được sắt, mangan, H2S, các hợp chất hữu cơ, rong rêu, cặn bẩn. Cấu tạo của hệ xử lý thoáng – lắng – lọc bao gồm dàn phun mưa với chức năng làm thoáng, giúp các ion sắt 2+ chuyển sang sắt 3+ tạo thành kết tủa. Kết tủa này sẽ lắng xuống và bị lọc ra khỏi nước qua cơ chế lọc khe hở và cơ chế hấp thụ.
